Isn't this already done with Facebook, Gmail, and for some time with MSN? I can log into many sites with those sites. In those situations where we need to prove who we are there is usually a means for doing so. I buy something from a company I have to use a credit card or my pay pal account so there is an identification associated with the transaction. Other than that don't see where anyone would want to pay to prove who they are and probably have very little desire for others to know. Why does the government feel there is a need for this?
